Masteclasses held on Minerals Economics and Resource Governance

IM4DC conducted two masterclasses in May for representatives from governments, think tanks and academic institutions.

A Mineral Economics masterclass was held at The University of Western Australia in Perth with 15 participants from 12 countries. The masterclass provided an understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of mineral economics, finance and project evaluation as applied to investment decisions in the resources sector.

A Resource Governance masterclass was held in Brisbane at The University of Queensland, and was attended by 16 participants from 11 countries. Participants were provided with an understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of governance in the mining sector.
