IM4DC is always interested in recieving case studies from alumni who have attended our programs either in-country or in Australia, and who have had the opportunity to use the skills learnt from the program in their home contexts.
Case studies can be a good showcase of the achievements that individuals and institutions build on their IM4DC learning experience.
The case studies are also a great tool to encourage other alumni as they apply in their own country contexts – the skills, knowledge and networks that they have developed through IM4DC.
IM4DC use case studies to inform development and targeting of programs, as well as reporting to stakeholders. The case studies are also produced to be stand-alone information sheets showcased on the IM4DC website:

How can you be involved?
All previous IM4DC program participants are welcome to make a case study submission outlining your own situation and how the IM4DC program has helped you in your home country. We want to promote great stories from participants about using the skills you’ve learnt upon returning to work in your home countries.
We are especially keen to hear stories of sharing knowledge and assisting a wider community to make changes toward improved development outcomes from mining practices and opportunities and management. Some of you have been working on specific return to work plans, which we are also keen to be kept updated on.
